Current News: UK judge satires on Mallya and Modi

Judge Emma Arbuthnot of a UK court has satired on fugitive bank defaulters Vijay Mallya and Nirav Modi on Friday. The bail petition of Nirav Modi came for hearing yesterday and the court had asked if Nirav is sent to India, where he will be imprisoned? To this Indian advocate replied that probably in Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail as that was prepared for liquor tycoon Mallya.

Learning about Judge Emma joked that will Mallya and Nirav be kept in the same room as it appears to be a spacious one. However, it was a light-hearted statement the Judge made. Earlier India has submitted a video of Arthur Road Jail as Vijay Mallya claimed that Indian jails are dirty and not hygiene.

Meanwhile, London's Westminster court has denied bail for Nirav Modi for the second time and things are getting tougher for him. He was involved in a Rs 13,500 crore fraud to Punjab National Bank and was on a run for nearly two years now.
