Comedy king Allari Naresh, who has been struggling to score a hit since 'Sudigadu', his career biggest hit, happened in 2012, is getting ready to revive his career with a sequel to that film.
Sudigadu is the Telugu remake of super hit Tamil film, "Thamizh Padam". The makers of the Tamil film are currently making a sequel titled, "Thamizh Padam 2". We have exclusively learned from our sources that Naresh and director Bheemaneni Sreenivas have acquired the remake rights of the sequel as well, and they are planning to start the shooting of "Sudagadu 2" from January 2018.
Interestingly, the remake rights have been acquired notwithstanding the result of the Tamil sequel, which is yet to be released. It seems Naresh and Bheemanani are relying on the 'Sudigadu' brand to recreate the magic. Pre-production work for the sequel is currently in progress.
