Latest Movie News: Salman Khan feels this phase of Bharats life was the toughest to portray

Salman Khan felt this particular phase in Bharat's life was the toughest for him to portray in his upcoming movie, Bharat. The actor has played all the phases of a man's life in the movie Bharat.

During the recent song launch event, the actor was asked which phase in the character's life was the toughest to play. Salman answered in a humorous way saying, "The character of my age was the easiest. This character(during the circus), I had forgotten a few years back so I had to go back and research from my own life and watch old movies of mine. I did remember it in some haze so I had a tough time during this one."

The actor has left no stones unturned for his upcoming movie Bharat. There are 7 phases in the character's life and the actor took a lot of hardship in playing the youngest character of the man in the circus.

Salman Khan's upcoming Eid release, Bharat, will have half-a-dozen songs celebrating the different festivals and the spirit of its leading man.

The film stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and Jackie Shroff. It traces India's post-independence history from the perspective of a common man and follows his life from the range of 18 to 70 years of age, as a journey.

Actors Gossips: Katrina Kaif says I have learned a lot about pain, love, and betrayal, feels happy that Zero happened

Zero may have been a box office failure and even panned by critics but Katrina Kaif is ‘happy that it happened’. In a recent interview, she has said working with director Anand L Rai has helped her learn a lot.

Katrina Kaif says she’s glad that she did Zero because Aanand L Rai helped her learn a lot.

Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif, who is gearing up for the release of her next with Salman Khan - Bharat, has said that working on Aanand L Rai’s Zero helped her understand emotions - both positive and negative - deeply. Zero, that also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, proved to be a box office dud and was widely panned by critics.

Speaking to DNA in an interview, Katrina said, “Life has put me on a journey that has put me on unchartered (very unexpected paths) territories emotionally. That has taught me about myself. I have learned a lot about emotion, pain, love, and betrayal. But at the same time, I have also gained an understanding of positive things like trust. I have begun to see life in a deeper way. And I have brought all of this to my work. Having that platform and then having fantastic directors like Aanand sir has helped.”

“Aanand sir was very specific. He was able to guide me with an emotional scene so beautifully. He would encourage me to reach deep within to bring the needed emotions to the fore. In Zero, for me, it was a world that Aanand sir and I discussed and discovered so deeply. When I got on set, he pushed and helped me to stay in the zone, which was required. That is what I would have hoped for. And I am happy that it happened. Such experiences and encouragement from a director have helped me evolve as an actor. I have definitely started to understand more of the craft. Eventually, this is what every actor wants. We all want to constantly grow at work. And, if someone somewhere makes a note, it makes the whole process worthwhile,” she added.

With flops like Thugs of Hindostan and Zero in her recent past, the stakes are high for Katrina with Bharat. However, her films opposite Salman Khan have a history of making it to huge box office numbers. Apart from Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat - an official remake of Korean drama An Ode to my Father, Katrina will soon be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi alongside Akshay Kumar and Neena Gupta.

Latest Update: And Katrina enters Salmans life again

Fresh Bharat posters featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were released on Wednesday and Thursday.

Salman posted the poster above and wrote: 'Meri Mitti. Mera Desh! #BharatKoSalaam''.

On April 17 he posted this poster with Katrina and wrote: 'Aur phir humare zindagi mein aayi 'Madam Sir' @katrinakaif #BharatKaJunoon'

Even as we were reeling from seeing Salman as an old man on the Bharat poster came another poster for the film.

This one featured our hero in the way we know him (not sans shirt, bristling with those muscles, of course).

'Jawaani humari Jaaneman thi! #BharatKiJawaani', Salman says, posting look 2 from his next film. Clearly, he needs some help from daddy Salim Khan in crafting clever lines...

Bharat is, of course, the Hindi remake of the Korean film Ode to My Father.

Ali Abbas Zafar has directed Salman in two big hits, Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai and the superstar is clearly hoping that AAZ will deliver another blockbuster to erase those Tubelight and Race 3 memories.

We'll know when Bharat releases on Eid, June 5

Actors Gossips: Katrina Kaif shares an enchanting photo with Salman Khan post 'Bharat' wrap, calls him 'bestest boy'

Katrina Kaif shares an enchanting photo with Salman Khan post 'Bharat' wrap, calls him 'bestest boy'

Katrina Kaif has just made our day brighter after she shared a photo of her and Salman Khan post the wrap of their movie Bharat. Sharing the photo, she called Salman Khan the bestest boy. However, the superstar wasn't the only bestest boy on her list. Ali Abbas Zafar and Atul Agnihotri also made it to the list. Alvira Khan Agnihotri also got a special mention as the best girl.

What has however caught our attention is the photograph. Katrina comfortably poses beside Salman Khan, their knees touching each other's, that it makes us excited to see their chemistry in the film, yet again. Ali managed to bring back the spark we missed on screen with his 2017 release Tiger Zinda Hai, and we are expecting the same from Bharat.

Sharing the photo of her with Salman, Katrina wrote, "And that’s a Picture wrap on Bharat. its been the most incredible & exciting character for me, the whole process of making this film has been so inspiring .....thank u @aliabbaszafar and @beingsalmankhan @atulreellife ..the bestest boys and Alvira Khan ( the bestest girl)"

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan are one of the most loved jodis even today, and that isn't the case only on-screens. Fans want to see the actors married to each other, and left similar comments after Katrina posted the endearing photo.

Katrina wasn't the first one to announce the movie's wrap. Ali, who had been giving us insight into the film with small behind-the-scenes on his Twitter handle, broke the news of the wrap, but of course, the photo which has Salman and Katrina's chemistry written all over it, is winning hearts today.

Interestingly, Katrina wasn't even going to be part of the film. Priyanka Chopra was initially roped in to play her role, but she had to refuse the film because the actress was going to get married to Nick Jonas around the same time and hence couldn't give her dates to the movie. As luck has it, Katrina, who already was eager to be part of the film, landed the role which was offered to Priyanka.

Bharat also stars Sunil Grover, Tabu, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Nora Fatehi and others in pivotal roles. The movie will also witness a cameo by the young superstar Varun Dhawan. Bharat and Ali Abbas Zafar directorial is slated to release on Eid i.e. on June 5, 2019.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif is a cine Jodi made in blockbuster heaven and their off-screen chemistry just goes to bolster their image. The actors, who will be seen together again in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat, were in party mode ahead of the film’s teaser launch on January 26.

Katrina looked luminous as she arrived wearing a deep red dress with sister Isabella. Salman, as always, chose all-black. The film’s lead cast was joined by Katrina’s sister Isabella, co-actors Tabu, Jackie Shroff and Sunil Grover among others.

A post shared by Viral Bhayani (@viralbhayani) on

Bharat’s teaser will launch on the Republic Day and is said to be almost a minute and a half in length. Zafar had written earlier on social media, “All the @BeingSalmanKhan fans, don’t lose your hearts, it was our conscious decision not to release anything about @Bharat_TheFilm on Bhai’s birthday, we are still shooting the film, Naye saal mein nayi film ki baat karegein, Naam Bharat hai ..date Bhi special Hogi.”

“Bharat teaser will be very different from that of most Salman films. This time around, the team is playing more on emotions and giving out a patriotic feel, than the action. There will be a few stunt scenes as montages, but director Ali Abbas Zafar and Salman are very clear that the first teaser has to give out the vibe and theme of the movie,” a source told DNA.
