Ira often interacts with fans on Instagram and has quite a following on the social media platform. She mostly discusses the importance of psychological state, and also gives fans a glimpse of her personal life. However, she also gives a bit of her mind whenever someone attacks her online.

On Monday evening, Ira shared her own picture on Instagram Stories and asked her followers, "I am almost sure what to try to do with myself. You?" An Instagram user then wrote to her saying, "Aapto Aamir Khan sir ki son ho na (Aren't you Aamir Khan sir's son)?" Ira was quick to reply with, "I am his daughter. But what even are these gendered nouns?"

Ira has no intentions to follow her father Aamir and become an actor. She made her directorial debut with a play titled Euripedes’ Medea in 2019. It featured Hazel Keech within the lead role.

In an earlier interview, Ira told Hindustan Times that she has no inclination towards acting. “I’ve always felt easier and hooked into working off-stage or behind the camera instead of [being] ahead of it. I’ve never felt the inclination to act except if it were in an action film, so i buy to find out all the cool stunts. but ... I can just find out how to try to do the stunts without a movie to figure on,” she said.

Kareena Kapoor is happy about returning home to Mumbai after spending almost a month in Pataudi near Delhi. She was shooting for Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan within the capital.

After spending a month in Pataudi, Kareena Kapoor has returned to her range in Mumbai. The actor shared a pouty, makeup-free selfie to point out to her fans how excited she was to return home.

“Just pouting away... excited to travel home,” Kareena captioned her picture on Instagram. Kareena’s fans loved her glowing new picture. “Beauty at its best,” wrote one. “And the simplest POUT award goes to," wrote another.

The family was seen at the airport in Mumbai on Wednesday evening. Kareena was seen during a white suit while Saif was during a blue kurta and white pajamas. Taimur was during a shirt and pants combo, wearing a bright yellow mask.

Kareena, her husband Saif Ali Khan, and their son Taimur were in Pataudi, his ancestral home. They spent on the brink of a month there with Saif’s mother, veteran actor Sharmila Tagore. Kareena was in Delhi to draw a bead on her film, Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan. As Kareena is pregnant together with her second child, she wanted to shoot her portions of the film in time before she grew too ‘big’.

Last week, Kareena shared an image with Aamir to mark the ultimate day of the shoot. “And all journeys must come to an end. Laal Singh Chaddha may be a remake of the 1995 Hollywood film, Forrest Gump starring Hanks. Aamir plays a Sikh man who travels through the country through pivotal moments in its history, becoming a crucial part of them. Kareena plays Robin Wright's role within the film.

Sharing a video of herself chatting with the camera, Ira wrote in an Instagram post, “A lot has been happening, tons of individuals have tons to mention. Things are really confusing and stressful and straightforward and okay but not okay and... life all at once. There are no thanks to saying it beat one go. But I’d wish to think I’ve figured some stuff out, or a minimum of found out the way to make it slightly more understandable. About psychological state and mental ill-health. To accompany me on this journey... in my awkward, quirky, sometimes-baby-voice-y, as-honest-as-I-can-be... way. Let’s start a conversation. Happy World psychological state Day.”

In the video, Ira says, “Hi, I’m depressed. I even have been for quite four years now. I’ve been to a doctor and I’m clinically depressed. I’m doing far better now. For over a year now, I wanted to try to something for a psychological state, but I wasn’t sure what to try to to. So, I even have decided to require you on a journey, my journey, and see what happens. Hopefully, we'll get to understand ourselves slightly better, understand the mental disease better.”

She added, “Let’s start from where I started. What do I even have to be depressed about? Who am I to be depressed? I even have everything, right?”

Her post has been ‘liked’ by on the brink of 20000 people. Her cousin, Zayn Marie called her a ‘brave, brave girl’ within the comments section. “More power to you Ira, really looking forward to teaching me more about the psychological state through this initiative,” wrote another person. Actor Hazel Keech, who starred in Ira’s first play as a director, wrote, “Proud of you Tich.”

Ira made her debut as a director with an adaptation of ‘Euripides’ Medea’. She recently shared pictures and videos of her first-ever creation as a tattoo artist.

Aamir Khan made a surprise cameo in his daughter Ira Khan’s workout video with fitness trainer David Poznan. Though he didn't take part, he waved and said hello, and his daughter promised to ‘force him’ to figure out together with her next time.

David, who trained Aamir for Dhoom 3 and PK, asked if he wanted to join: “Do you would like to try to some push-ups, handstands, and squats with Ira?” However, the actor just wanted to mention hi. Ira said, “Next time, I will be able to force him.”

Sharing the video on Instagram, David said that it had been a task reversal of sorts. “Back once I was training Aamir for Dhoom 3 and PK, Ira wont to hang around with us tons, but would basically run away once I tried to urge her to figure out! a few years have passed, and now we’re diving into weekly workouts with many pushups, squat variations, and a few fun with feet within the air. This session also included a fun surprise hello from Aamir. But now the tables have turned - Ira was rocking the workout and Aamir just popped in to mention hi!” he wrote in his caption.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday morning, Aamir took to Twitter to tell fans that a number of his staff members had tested positive for the novel coronavirus. He said that he and his family tested negative but that his mother was yet to be tested.

“This is to tell you that a number of my staff have tested positive. They were immediately quarantined, and BMC officials were very prompt and efficient in taking them to a medical facility. I might wish to thank the BMC for taking such excellent care of them, and for fumigating and sterilizing the whole society. the remainder folks have all been tested and located negative. immediately I'm taking my mother to urge her tested. She is the last person within the loop. Please pray that she is negative,” he wrote.

Aamir was shooting for Advait Chandan’s Laal Singh Chaddha in Punjab when the coronavirus pandemic cut the schedule short and made the unit to return home. The film is a politician remake of Hollywood blockbuster Forrest Gump and also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh.
