Last month, Sonam had returned to India, and photos and videos of the diva breaking into tears upon seeing her father, senior actor Anil Kapoor at the airport went viral on the web. Soon after her arrival, fans started speculating that the 'Neerja' star was pregnant, remarking the outfit she was wearing -- a blazer teamed with a free-flowing skirt, to cover her pregnancy. 

However, shutting all pregnancy rumours, Sonam Kapoor shared an Instagram story about the primary day of her period. The actress shared a boomerang on her Instagram Stories during which she is sipping ginger tea out of a cup. The actress revealed that she was having a tough time on the primary day of the amount. Sonam wrote, "Hot bottle and ginger tea for the first day of my period.” 

Sonam Kapoor returned to India after nearly a year. She had flown to London when lockdown norms were relaxed within the country last year, to be together with her husband Anand Ahuja. Earlier this month, Sonam’s sister Rhea Kapoor tied the knot together with her longtime beau Karan Boolani at Anil Kapoor’s plush Juhu mansion. 

While in London, Sonam had started working for her next movie and wrapped the shoot of 'Blind', a thriller directed by Shome Makhija. The film is produced by Sujoy Ghosh.

People called her out for not only falsely crediting Robert De Niro but also calling out an incorrect Indian anthem. "Sonam Kapoor quoting that an eye fixed for an eye only finishes up making the entire world blind is as fake as things can get. This so-called intellectual woman doesn’t even know who said this," wrote a user while sharing the video.

Condemn the harassment and abuse against Rhea. this is often not about taking sides. this is often about calling out what's unjust. Remember this might happen to you."

On Thursday evening, Kangana Ranaut mentioned actor Sonam Kapoor as a 'mafia bimbo' for supporting arrested actress Rhea Chakraborty, who she mentioned as a 'small-time druggie'. "All of the en mafia bimbos have begun to seek justice for Rhea ji through my house tragedy, my fight is for people don`t compare my struggles to a little time druggie who was living off a vulnerable and broken, self-made superstar, stop this directly," tweeted Kangana from her verified account.
