Shraddha Kapoor, who celebrates her birthday on March 3, has completed a decade in showbiz.

And the decade has treated her well.

Today, she is among the foremost successful actresses from the younger generation.

Of course, she's had her struggles also , and at one point in her career, thought her dream of being an actress wouldn't be true.

Now, Shraddha is in Baaghi 3 mood, and she or he tells Rediff.com Contributor Mohnish Singh that her character within the film may be a 'pataakhi!'

You are entering the new decade of your career with an enormous film like Baaghi 3. How does it feel?

I cannot believe it!

How has time just flown?

I have to pinch myself to believe that 10 years have just gone .

Let's just say that i'm happy to be a neighborhood of Baaghi 3, and that i am happy to play this particular character, Siya.

It is something I even have not done before.

The personality traits that she has are really, really, fun.

She may be a 'pataakhi', energetic and features a way of communicating.

I had a blast playing her, especially because it had been so different from Chhichhore.

The rhythm was different.

It was tons pacier as a personality .

It took me a few of days to urge wont to the way she speaks but i used to be very, very proud of that change.

How did you prepare delivering dialogues peppered with cuss words?

(Laughs) i might practice with our director Ahmed Khan and writer Farhad (Samji).

They would explain, you know, that how they wanted it.

It should appear to be how she has been speaking like that forever. within the middle of a sentence, you know, she just adds that.

How was it meeting Bappi Lahri before your song Bankas came out?

We need to interact with him just before Bankas came out.

He is such a legend.

We need to hear him live. He sang a few of lines from the song.

For me, to possess seen that was amazing. only a few people get that chance .

It is a full-on tribute to the first .

Any update on your film with Luv Ranjan?

Just that i'm doing a movie with him (smiles). it's too early to speak about it.

Are you looking forward to working with Ranbir Kapoor for the primary time?

Yeah, I am. He has been one among my favourite actors.

In 10 years of your career, you've got done several unconventional and traditional roles. Is there any role you are feeling you ought to haven't done?

Every role that I even have done are some things i'm very, very pleased with , regardless of how it did.

This (acting) are some things I even have wanted to try to to since i used to be a touch girl.

There was a flash once I felt it's going to not come true, which was after my first two films. That was very shattering.

But because of the support of my parents and loved ones...

The fact that i'm doing what I do is such an enormous opportunity on behalf of me .

So every part that I even have played and each film that I even have been a neighborhood of has been a really , very big deal on behalf of me .

Photograph: Kind courtesy Shraddha Kapoor/Instagram

Would you wish to sing as well?

I would like to sing more.

I would wish to believe that i will be able to do this again soon.

Why is it that actresses are mostly replaced in sequels of hit franchises?

I am trying to consider franchises that I even have been a neighborhood of -- ABCD 2, Rock On 2 and Baaghi.

I think whatever is supposed to return to you, involves you.

Whatever isn't meant to be yours, won't be yours.

I feel that if i'm cast during a particular film which is supposed to be on behalf of me , there's something I bring back the table which can add value.

Besides, this question should be answered by producers and therefore the makers of the films.

I did this film because it adds value to me, and the other way around .

It is a personality I even have never played before.

Even the road Dancer character I had never played before.

So, as an actor, there was a challenge on behalf of me .

High octane action films coming from India and similar action bonanzas coming from Hollywood have only one big difference. In Hollywood films, even during the craziest and spine chilling action sequences, they try to enforce lots of comedy. And that comes through from little actions and small dialogues.

If reports are anything to go by, Saaho has lots of comedy involved in almost all the action sequences except the climax fight. We have already seen a dose of it in the teaser as Prabhas sans, 'fans; diehard fans', while speaking to Shraddha Kapoor. Surely such hilarious moments will make action sequences more interesting.

The success of films like Transformers and Mission Impossible franchises could be owed to these comedy liners as every action sequence of those comedy bits all over, to give fun and entertain the audiences to the core. If Saaho followed the same pattern, results would be enormous.

And also director Sujeeth is known for etching such fun as his Run Raja Run is full of that. So we have to say that comedy is going to be the backbone of Saaho for sure. This Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor starrer is hitting cinemas in India on August 15th.

Aamir Khan had backed out of Mogul after #MeToo allegations were levied on the director Subhash Kapoor

T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar announced a big surprise back in March 2017. He revealed the first look of Gulshan Kumar's biopic which has been titled, Mogul. At that moment, Akshay Kumar was cast in the lead role for the film.

The actor, however, left the project. Soon after Akshay Kumar's exit, Aamir Khan's name started being associated with Mogul. The actor confirmed that he is co-producing the film with T-Series. He backed out of the project when the director of the film Subhash Kapoor was accused of #MeToo. Kapoor, however, received a clean chit and now Aamir Khan is back with the project.

Bhushan Kumar confirmed the same with Indian Express. He, however, did not reveal anything about the lead actor. While some reports assume that Akshay Kumar might be back on the project, others believe that Aamir Khan would play the titular role. It, however, looks unlikely that either of the two would play the lead role.

Aamir, when celebrating 30 years in Bollywood with the media, had cleared that he would not be acting in the film. A source even revealed to Masala! magazine why that did not happen. “After  Akshay Kumar ’s exit, Bhushan has been trying his level best to convince Aamir Khan to play Gulshan Kumar but with little luck. There are many controversial areas of Gulshan  Kumar’s life that  Aamir doesn’t want to get into,” the source said.

Bhushan, on the other hand, told Indian Express, “I can’t say anything about it right now. Now, I am very comfortable about it because I know the film is happening and with the best person who looks (laughs) like my father. There is no ambiguity in that. So, I am very happy about that.”

“It’s an important and emotional film for us and that is why it is taking time. We want to make it the best. I am not in a hurry for it because it is not a commercial film for me. Whatever comes, I will have to donate it. That is our family’s thought process since the beginning. We will be announcing the actor very soon. That actor definitely needs seven-eight months to adapt to it. The film will start somewhere in 2020,” he added while talking about when the movie goes on floors.

In conclusion, T-Series head honcho also clarified that things are positive with Akshay Kumar by saying, “Whatever happened, it happened for the good. I have nothing against anyone. We are working on two-three films with Akshay ji. Whatever miscommunication was there has also gotten cleared. Everything is in a positive space now.”
