Actors Gossips: Shraddha Kapoor does something she has NEVER DONE BEFORE

'I need to pinch myself to believe that 10 years have just gone .'

Shraddha Kapoor, who celebrates her birthday on March 3, has completed a decade in showbiz.

And the decade has treated her well.

Today, she is among the foremost successful actresses from the younger generation.

Of course, she's had her struggles also , and at one point in her career, thought her dream of being an actress wouldn't be true.

Now, Shraddha is in Baaghi 3 mood, and she or he tells Rediff.com Contributor Mohnish Singh that her character within the film may be a 'pataakhi!'

You are entering the new decade of your career with an enormous film like Baaghi 3. How does it feel?

I cannot believe it!

How has time just flown?

I have to pinch myself to believe that 10 years have just gone .

Let's just say that i'm happy to be a neighborhood of Baaghi 3, and that i am happy to play this particular character, Siya.

It is something I even have not done before.

The personality traits that she has are really, really, fun.

She may be a 'pataakhi', energetic and features a way of communicating.

I had a blast playing her, especially because it had been so different from Chhichhore.

The rhythm was different.

It was tons pacier as a personality .

It took me a few of days to urge wont to the way she speaks but i used to be very, very proud of that change.

How did you prepare delivering dialogues peppered with cuss words?

(Laughs) i might practice with our director Ahmed Khan and writer Farhad (Samji).

They would explain, you know, that how they wanted it.

It should appear to be how she has been speaking like that forever. within the middle of a sentence, you know, she just adds that.

How was it meeting Bappi Lahri before your song Bankas came out?

We need to interact with him just before Bankas came out.

He is such a legend.

We need to hear him live. He sang a few of lines from the song.

For me, to possess seen that was amazing. only a few people get that chance .

It is a full-on tribute to the first .

Any update on your film with Luv Ranjan?

Just that i'm doing a movie with him (smiles). it's too early to speak about it.

Are you looking forward to working with Ranbir Kapoor for the primary time?

Yeah, I am. He has been one among my favourite actors.

In 10 years of your career, you've got done several unconventional and traditional roles. Is there any role you are feeling you ought to haven't done?

Every role that I even have done are some things i'm very, very pleased with , regardless of how it did.

This (acting) are some things I even have wanted to try to to since i used to be a touch girl.

There was a flash once I felt it's going to not come true, which was after my first two films. That was very shattering.

But because of the support of my parents and loved ones...

The fact that i'm doing what I do is such an enormous opportunity on behalf of me .

So every part that I even have played and each film that I even have been a neighborhood of has been a really , very big deal on behalf of me .

Would you wish to sing as well?

I would like to sing more.

I would wish to believe that i will be able to do this again soon.

Why is it that actresses are mostly replaced in sequels of hit franchises?

I am trying to consider franchises that I even have been a neighborhood of -- ABCD 2, Rock On 2 and Baaghi.

I think whatever is supposed to return to you, involves you.

Whatever isn't meant to be yours, won't be yours.

I feel that if i'm cast during a particular film which is supposed to be on behalf of me , there's something I bring back the table which can add value.

Besides, this question should be answered by producers and therefore the makers of the films.

I did this film because it adds value to me, and the other way around .

It is a personality I even have never played before.

Even the road Dancer character I had never played before.

So, as an actor, there was a challenge on behalf of me .
