The makers of superstar Mahesh Babu's 25th film, a Vamsi Paidipally directorial, have officially announced to have roped in acclaimed cinematographer, KU Mohanan to crank camera for their film. This is Mohanan's first Telugu film. Interestingly, had destiny allowed, he would have entered Tollywood with an NTR-starter.
Mohanan was first approached for NTR28, the actor's new film to be directed by Trivikram. Somehow, an agreement couldn't be made and Trivikram then finalized another talented lensman, PS Vinod.
Interestingly, PS Vinod was supposed to work for Mahesh25. Having worked with director Vamsi Paidipally on his last film, "Oopiri", Vinod was the first choice of Vamsi for his film starring Mahesh. Somehow, he missed this film, and Mohanan came on board finally.
Pooja Hegde, who took the Telugu film industry by storm with "DJ", is playing the female lead in both Mahesh25 and NTR28. The two films will have to share her dates so as not to hamper the schedules of each other.
