Superstar Rajinikanth's "2.0", India's highest budgeted film, has unfortunately fallen prey to piracy. The teaser of this highly anticipated sci-fi film has been leaked on internet, and it, predictably, has gone viral within hours.
It looks the culprit recorded the teaser while it was showcased at a private screening, and leaked it on internet. However, there is no authentic report on how the leak happened. The one and a half minute promo doesn't look like the final product as it appears a collage of unfinished VFX shots.

Shocked by the leak, Soundarya Rajinikanth, the superstar's daughter said, "Leaking content online before the official release not be tolerated or encouraged. This is a heartless act ignoring hard work, efforts and sentiments of the makers for few seconds of excitement."
It is disheartening to see such a high budgeted film, being made on a whopping budget of Rs 450 Cr, falling prey to piracy. Makers as well as fans are shocked with the leak. It seems makers need to be more careful from now.
On the positive side, the teaser has only taken the already high expectations to sky-high level. Director Shankar's vision and Akshay Kumar's Crowman avatar (an already known spoiler) promise a thrilling out of the world experience.
'2.0', will release in the second half of this year.
