We've seen some celebrities showing an inclination towards politics at a young age. At the age of 37, Pawan Kalyan tested his luck with Prajarajyam Party and Jr NTR campaigned for TDP in 2009 at the age of 26. At the same time, tipped as once KCR's favorite news reader, Rani Rudrama Devi Reddy (Tfavoritei) also joined politics at 28 years of age. Here is another interesting happening.
Now, we hear that TV serials actress Reshma Rathod who tested her luck on the silver screen as well is all set to foray into politics at the age of 27. Hailing from Yellandhu of Mahbubabad, Reshma carved a name for herself with debut film, Director Maruthi's "Ee Rojullo" and was hailed as Jr Trisha by many cinema lovers. However, this law graduate says, her heart is with people and to serve them she wants to join electoral politics.
"I want to fight for the issues related to Bayyaram steel plant. Also with my father being a manager at Singareni Collieries, I know about many issues. I want to contest from Mahabubabad Parliamentary Constituency on the ticket of a national party rather regional one" said Reshma, revealing the happening.
So with parties like TRS, TDP, YSR-C ruled out, we could say that Reshma will be joining either BJP or Congress. So, who is giving her MP ticket now? Let's see.
