There will be no water supply in certain areas on April 19 as HMWS&SB has proposed a 24-hour shut down to take up junction works on the main inlet for the newly constructed reservoirs under Krishna drinking water supply project phase-III. The proposed shutdown will be from 6am on April 18. The areas affected would be Tarnaka Street No 10 & 11, Gokul Nagar, Hanuman Nagar, Vijaya Dairy, NFC, Infosys-Pocharam, LIG colony, Singapore Township, RGK, Chanakyapuri, Gouthamnager, Jawahar Nagar, Kailashgiri, Krishna Nagar, Mangapuram Housing Board Phase-II and Indira Nagar.
