Wednesday brought another posthumous honor for the late Sridevi. After the TITAN Reginald F Lewis Film Icon Award at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this month, the Mom actress was honored with the Lifetime Achievhonoredard in Indian Cinema presented by BRICS Alliance’s Business Forum Leadership Award. Boney Kapoor and his sister Reena Marwah accepted the award on behalf of the late actress.
Previously, Sri’s Chandni co-star Rishi Kapoor was given this honour in 2016. BRICS is an association of five major emerging national economies — Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
