Leaving no chance to opposition parties YSRCP and Janasena, Chandrababu Naidu has responded very well to the heinous rape incident of a 9-yr-old girl by a 50-yr-old rickshaw puller Subbayya in Dachepalli of Guntur district. Apart from deploying various groups to nab the culprit, the investigation of the crime was held out in a very swift, flawless manner.
While Dachepalli incident was positioned alongside horrific incidents of Kathua and Unnao, Chandrababu Naidu is the only chief minister in the entire country who personally visited the victim and victim's family and assured them of all support from the government. He even made it clear that his government wouldn't hesitate to take any stern action against crimes on children, women.
If this is not enough, Naidu has participated in an awareness rally 'Adabiddaku Andaga Kaduludam' in order to raise public awareness among people that such acts wouldn't be tolerated and culprits can't get away after assaulting women and children. This is a strong message from the Chief Minister of a state.
While Opposition leaders such as Jagan and Pawan should have held such rallies, but smart Naidu has left no chance to them by himself taking part in a rally. What's more? Neither Jagan nor Pawan have met victim or victim's family. Except doing some political drama by making some comments in front of media by YCP leaders such as Roja, Vasireddy Padma, YSRCP really failed to do what is actually needed. Instead of trying to support the victim, YCP's attempt to get political mileage out of the issue has yet again projected the party in poor light. Whereas Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan restricted himself to Twitter where he just tweeted.
Certainly, Naidu seems to be ahead of Jagan and Pawan when it comes to public issues and his political expertise is clearly visible in his actions. After all, actions speak louder than words.
