Definitely, it's quite thrilling to know what happened in the late 70s that led to the drastic downfall and death of legendary actress Savitri through "Mahanati". From a time where star heroes like NTR and ANR waited for her dates to when she picked up small side-characters in other films, it's quite ironical.
Some star heroines who have watched Mahanati in theatres are said to be outrightly scared imagining what happens if they encounter similar future. There are many positive things this biopic is teaching like how one's own determination could make them do anything, but there is a negative side too.
Apparently, Savitri's biopic has clearly shown what happens if stars don't save money properly, if they believe everyone who's doing 'bhajana' around and if they don't pay Income Taxes on time when we are earning huge. Also, the film explains the possibility of a trouble late age if actresses run into married heroes and agree to survive in a polygamy by the male stars. Also, it shows the downside of marrying an actor and getting more fame than him does to a female actor.
We hear that some of the prettiest heroines who are close to retirement and a fading out career are worried by all these thoughts after watching the film.
