Aamir Khan may not adapt Mahabharata post Thugs of Hindostan, here's why

Aamir Khan’s keenness to spend 10 years of his career and life adapting the mythological The Mahabharata has been a hot topic of debate for a while now. The actor-filmmaker has been clever not to speak about this to the media. Even direct queries on the subject have at best been answered with a smile from the Bollywood superstar. In other words, he is not ready to share anything with the media as yet.

Yes, it is true that on his birthday last year, he did spend time discussing the epic with some journalists and he even smiled when people told him he should play Lord Krishna. But as we said at the start, he was noncommittal. However, since he backed out of Salute and asked his good friend Shah Rukh Khan to do the film, people assumed that AK is only obsessing over The Mahabharata and that he was not keen to do anything else. Now, rumors suggest that Aamir also wants to fit in a film between Thugs Of Hindostan and his ambitious epic. Which film will that be? Everyone is waiting with bated breath to know that.
