Social media records have become more important in creating a huge buzz for any movie, today and Sye Raa is also not the exception from it.
With Megastar Chiranjeevi coming as Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy, a Telugu warrior who started a gorilla style combat war rebellion against British rulers in 1830's, the movie seemed to have huge expectations.
Still, for the distributors and exhibitors to believe in the extravagant budget and invest, they need a proof of how the movie will trend post-release.
Even though slated for Summer, 2019 release, Ram Charan the producer used the occasion of Chiranjeevi's birthday and showed to everyone how people are anticipating for the movie.
The teaser recorded 12 Million digital views in 24 hours, higher than Baahubali-2. The teaser of Sye Raa earned good applause for Amit Trivedi's BGM but Chiru's getup is not liked by all.
In any case, the movie seems to be on course to put up opening weekend and day records looking at the buzz.
