VIDEO: A cheerful Nick Jonas arrives in India with parents to attend fiancee Priyanka Chopra's special announcement party

After a hush-hush engagement in July, it was being reported that Priyanka Chopra is planning to host a special announcement party on August 18 for her Bollywood friends. It was being said that her fiance Nick Jonas will also be flying down to India with his family to attend the event. And guess what, here they are!

The Amercian music sensation was spotted arriving at Mumbai's International airport on Thursday night with his mother Denise and father Kevin Jonas Sr. The family looked cheerful as they walked with a big Tiffany & Co. bag in their hand. Priyanka had personally come to receive them at the airport. But, no pictures could be taken as she was in a separate car.

There was some issues as #nickjonas took a lot of time to exit as his flight had landed long back. Wonder what was the reason. He was friendly and approachable and his parents were very sweet. The rock on PC's finger has made enough headlines, more so after pictures from Manish Malhotra's party came out. And, now it looks like the power couple is all set to make it official. 

“Nick Jonas and his immediate family are traveling to India this weekend to attend an engagement party hosted by Priyanka’s family. It’s going to be the first time that their families intermingle and get to know each other. It’s a tradition for them to meet before the wedding and Priyanka’s family insisted on hosting the Jonas family in their country,” a source was quoted by E! News. Brothers Kevin and Joe Jonas are also expected to join them, tomorrow.

Nick and Priyanka will most likely get hitched by the end of October, this year. And, it will be a big fat Indian wedding!

“Priyanka wants everything to be traditional to respect her family’s values, and definitely an Indian wedding. Priyanka and Nick are excited for everyone to meet and to celebrate. Everything is very secretive but guests are expected to head there starting tomorrow. All of the plans are moving quickly and Priyanka and Nick do not want to have a long engagement,” the source was further quoted saying.
