AAP To Fight against TRS in Telangana

Aiming to give a tough fight to the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Party, Aam Aadmi Party has decided to contest 119 seats in Telangana, said the party's Delhi MLA Somnath Bharti.

According to him, AAP has proved its credibility by emerging as an honest political alternative to corrupt parties such as the TRS and Congress in Telangana. "The people of Telangana are looking for a credible alternative and AAP can be that," he added.

He said that AAP turned down an offer from the Bahujan Left Front including CPI(M). Somnath Bharti also slammed TRS chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao for making "false promises to the people of Telangana."

Aam Aadmi Party believes that its achievements in the field of education, health and public service delivery in New Delhi have reaped great results. "We think that the people of Telangana also deserve such services. We aim to replicate the same model in Telangana," he stated.
