Raveena Tandon lashes out at netizens who linked her harassment tweet to Akshay Kumar-Twinkle Khanna

Model turned actress Tanushree Dutta, last week levelled charges of sexual harassment against Nana Patekar.

This created quite a stir and has left leveled film industry in a state of shock.

While Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan refused to comment on the same, Farhan Akhtar, Swara Bhasker, Sonam Kapoor, Twinkle Khanna, Mira Rajput Kapoor, Sapna Pabbi and Raveena Tandon felt the need to speak about the issue and some even said that they believe Tanushree.

Raveena Tandon had in fact tweeted saying that, "What defines harassment in a workplace? The fact that many industry wives/girlfriends are silent observers or instigators, when actor husbands destroy the actresses careers after the chase and flirtation is over, have them replaced with other potential targets?"

For all those who don't know, it is said that back in the day, Raveena and Akshay were dating, till the former married Twinkle.

Shell-shocked by the comments on her tweets, Raveena wrote, "Some not so clever people making a connection without any knowledge of any past. My observations are not my life alone. It's all that I've seen happen to women around in my industry. Colleagues and friends. Not targeting any one person. In fact remained friends did movies."

Coming back to Tanushree Dutta. In 2008, Tanushree had accused Nana Patekar of sexually harassing her on the sets of the film Horn Ok Please, while filming a dance number.

The actor had tried to get too close to her during the shoot, and Tanushree had protested. The actress alleges that Nana called goons from the MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) to come and bash her car, and break the windshield. The MNS denied involvement in this, and are now up in arms against her accusations.

Nana Patekar and filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri (against whom Tanushree has leveled charges of misbehavior), on the other hand, have slapped a legal case on the actress.
