New Pics: Ranveer Singh Thinks His Bride Deepika Padukone Looked Like "Frida Kahlo on Acid" at Their Mumbai Wedding Bash

After a dreamy Lake Como wedding, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone returned to India and hosted a reception in Deepika's hometown Bengaluru on November 21. On November 24, Ranveer's sister Ritika Bhavnani threw a lavish dinner bash for the two in Mumbai.

Ever since we saw Deepika's leaked inside pictures from the bash, we have been yearning to see her complete look. And, thankfully fashion maestro Sabyasachi Mukherjee didn't take a lot of time to grant our wishes.

He released the bride's look on his Instagram account, on Sunday. And boy, we have never seen a more badass Dulhan.

Deepika opted for a vibrant ‘Dil-guldasta’ lehenga from Sabyasachi's Kesribai Pannalal Bridal 2018 collection. Here's how the regal ensemble was described, "The lehenga is intricately embroidered on Bordeaux silk with hand-dyed velvet appliques, silk-floss, beaten silver and gold thread and rose-tinted crystals and rhinestones. The look is accessorized with jewelry from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry Collection and romanticized with a sheer, diaphanous, embroidered veil."

Red-roses halo braid (a hairdo popularised by Mexican artist Frida Kahlo), smoky eyes and nude lips completed Deepika's look. Ranveer also gave a heartfelt speech to her wife at the end of the event. Referring to her as the most beautiful girl, Ranveer said, "And she's obliged me by wearing this today, she's looking like Frida Kahlo on acid."

Here are all the pictures:

The couple let their hair down at last night's party in Mumbai. In the videos shared by their fan club, the couple can be seen setting the dance floor on fire with their crazy dance moves.

Ranveer is expected to throw another bash for his close friends and family members on November 28. On December 1, DeepVeer will host a star-studded reception for their friends and colleagues from the film fraternity.
