John Abraham, who has been busy shooting for his next film in Lucknow, took some time off of work to spend it with acid attack survivors. During an event in Gomti Nagar in Lucknow, some of the survivors were invited and made to sit blindfolded after being told that a special dish was being prepared. As they waited for the special, they were in shock when blindfolds came out and they saw John Abraham in front of them.

John Abraham was greeted with a garland as the women wished to click pictures with him. Upon greeting the fans, John addressed the event by saying, “I am really happy to shoot in Lucknow for my next film. This city is so beautiful but I think I am one of those unlucky souls who still has not got a chance to explore this city much. I really want to roam around but my shooting schedule is very hectic.”

John Abraham further promised the acid attack survivors who work at the local cafe that he will visit the cafe again. He said, “Since I am staying at a hotel nearby, I would love to come to this place any time and have a cup of coffee here. Moreover, my team members have promised me that they will make black tea for me here today. So I won’t spare them and have that for sure.”

Meanwhile, John Abraham is shooting for Nikkhil Advani’s next, Batla House. The film will revolve around Sanjeev Kumar Yadav as the one who spearheaded the Batla House encounter. It is a story about the encounter that happened in Delhi between the police officials and the terrorist group, Indian Mujahideen. The film is set to release on August 15, 2019.
