The pre-poll survey by CPS in Telangana ahead of its first General Assembly elections in India's 29th state has come under severe criticism by Opposition parties Congress, TDP, BJP, TJS and CPI besides others.
As per the survey, only 1 independent is likely to win with 6.5 percent votes for all independent candidates overall. The survey said to have conducted in total 119 constituencies. And the sample size is said to be huge i.e 2,86,567 in the entire state. The survey is said to have carried out between 25th November and 29th November i.e after the candidates have been finalized.
However, these predictions are being targeted by Congress and TDP who are outrightly quashing the survey. Senior leaders like Uttam Kumar Reddy, L Ramana, and others said to have vented out their angst on the survey and also on a couple of news channels that aired the survey in prime time and had discussed on it for over 30 minutes.
Now, many Praja Kutami leaders are finding fault with the news channels airing such a "biased" survey and having such a lengthy analysis of it. Opposition leaders are alleging that the said news channels are endorsing the survey results. Exuding the confidence over their victory, opposition leaders quashed such surveys as "baseless".
