The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) which has won with a landslide majority in Telangana seems to have fans among its friendly parties in the neighboring state of Andhra Pradesh. YSR Congress supporters and KCR fans including several netizens are seen celebrating TRS' victory in Andhra in various videos that are going viral on social media.
A lot of support and tweets have been pouring in support of Telangana from Andhra. Especially, many YSRCP and Jana Sena supporters have been congratulating TRS party for its victory and mocking Telugu Desam Party (TDP) about political retirement soon. They have, in fact, going to the extent of requesting TRS to contest in Andhra Pradesh and form a government there, along with the introduction of all the welfare schemes of Telangana in AP.
Meanwhile, some of them are requesting KTR on Twitter to expand TRS party to Telangana. Some have said that TRS' victory this could be a warning sign for TDP in the upcoming elections in 2019 and they expressed confidence that TRS will help other allies in AP trounce TDP. Netizens also sarcastically thanked TDP Chief for helping TRS win the election with his campaigning in Telangana.
During a press conference today after their victory, TRS Chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao mentioned about giving a "return gift" to TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu in the form of campaigning in Andhra Pradesh elections. "He has come here and campaigned. Shouldn't we give him a return gift and do the same?," he said. Well, if his words are to go by, will TRS meddle in AP politics with so many supporters vying for its entry? Only time will tell!
