New Symbol: Jana Sena party gets Election symbol

Almost four and half years after establishing the party, Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena has got 'glass tumbler' as its election symbol.

With the common symbol, the Jana Sena party can contest in all the 25 Parliamentary segments in Andhra Pradesh and 17 Parliamentary constituencies in Telangana state. The Central Election Commission released a notification in this regard on Saturday night. The official JSP account on social media also acknowledged that 'glass tumbler' symbol has been allotted by Central Election Commission.

Now that the election symbol has come for the Jana Sena, the party hopes to reach out to people in an aggressive manner. In this regard, the party chief Pawan Kalyan also announced that he will embark on extensive tours across the state and will be available for the party leaders in Amaravati from 1st January.

Besides Jana Sena party, the Central Election Commission has allotted election symbols to 29 other newly registered political parties across the country.
