Leading: Early Trends In 5 States: Cong 3, TRS 1, MIZ 1

Counting of votes polled in the five states Assembly Polls began on Tuesday morning. Early Trends indicate TRS will retain power in Telangana, Congress would come back to power in Rajasthan & Chhattisgarh, and MNF will dethrone Congress from power in Mizoram.

There is a neck-and-neck situation between Congress and BJP in Madhya Pradesh. By 10 AM, Congress has a slight edge and that's a bad sign for Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led BJP Government.

Don't be surprised if BJP loses all the three states (Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh) where it holds power until now. If that happens, NDA is on the verge of facing defeat in the 2019 Lok Sabha Polls.

Early Trends in 5 States (Leading):

Telangana: TRS - 82, Mahakutami - 24, BJP - 5; Others - 6

Madhya Pradesh: Congress - 99 ; BJP - 88; BSP - 5; Others - 4

Rajasthan: Congress - 99; BJP - 67; BSP -3; Others - 15

Chhattisgarh: Congress - 49, BJP - 27, BSP - 5, Others - 1

Mizoram: MNF - 22; Congress - 8, BJP - 1, Others - 4
