Alert News: Producers Revolt Against Vishal, Lock Down His Office

Controversy is back in Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) as a section of producers revolted against TFPC president Vishal. At least 50 producers have locked the TFPC office and resorted to a sit on protest in front of the office. Raising slogans against Vishal, the producers alleged that Vishal has been 'misusing' his office. They allege that Vishal has totally given-up the promises he had made before elections.

What is interesting is that a few producers who had supported Vishal earlier have also now turned against him and joined the protest. Producers RK Suresh, Uday who were friendly with Vishal, have also among the revolted producers.

As Vishal was not available, the rebel producers have indulged in a verbal war with TFPC secretary Kadiresan. Vishal has won as TFPC president in 2017. He is also the general secretary for Nadigar Sagam (Movie Artistes' Association).

Kollywood is said to be closely observing this fresh controversy in TFPC and one has to wait and see what would be its consequences. Now, what Vishal has to say on this.
