Hours before Telangana to vote in its first-ever election after the state's formation, UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi has sent a video message to the people of India's 29th state. In her video message, Sonia appealed to Telangana people to vote for People's Front (Praja Kutami) to fulfill their dreams. She said the Praja Kutami is people's alliance and the voice of the Telangana people.
Sonia has asked the people to vote for Praja Kutami not only for the state's future but for their own future. Sonia described the Praja Kutami as an alliance of the each and every section of the Telangana society.

Recalling how Telangana state was formed 4.5 years ago and the crucial role she had played behind the state's formation, Sonia said the people of Telangana have been betrayed by those in power (referring to TRS) in Hyderabad. Sonia asked the people of Telangana to vote to Praja Kutami to fulfill their hopes, expectations, dreams, and wishes. She said she is personally appealing to each and every voter of Telangana.
