Recently on celebrity talk show Koffee with Karan when Karan Johar asked Sara Ali Khan in a rapid-fire round that whom she wants to date, Sara replied she wants to date Kartik Aryan.

This statement of Sara sets the many tongues wagging and everybody was curious to know what could happen next.

A video form the event is doing the rounds on social media where Ranveer can be seen playing cupid. On Wednesday, at Lokmat Most Stylish Awards, Simmba team was promoting the film and Ranveer saw Kartik Aryan, he took him to Sara Ali Khan and introduced him to her. He made them hold hands and said, "Glad, you guys have met", while making love sign with his hands.

On the work front, Ranveer and Sara will be seen together in Simmba, directed by Rohit Shetty. The film is slated to release on 28th December. Kartik Aryan is shooting for Luka Chuppi with Kriti Sanon and it's slated to release next year.
