Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt may have surprised the world by being in a relationship, but it was a sweet surprise and something that most of us, including both their families, love.

Alia was always close to Rishi Kapoor (she did Kapoor & Sons with him) and Neetu Kapoor clearly loved her (which was evident since Neetu always posted photos of Alia from her Instagram handle) but she bonded really well with Ranbir’s favourite Kapoor niece Samaira and sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni too.

If a report in Spotboye is to be considered then Riddhima showed her fondness for the actress and gave them an acceptable gift. A jewelry designer herself, Riddhima sent them a gold plated ring crafted with the couple’s initials ‘AR’ to Ranbir and Alia as a token of her affection towards both of them from her store. The star sister got the ring personalized just for the couple, but otherwise, the ring has initials ‘SR’. Here’s a photo of it:

 This also isn’t the first time when Riddhima has gifted her favorite couple something. She had previously sent Alia a personalized bracelet, which Alia shared as her Instagram story then.

Ranbir and Alia, who grew close on the sets of their upcoming Ayan Mukerji directorial Brahmastra, have often spent time together, especially with Ranbir’s family, who Alia has warmed up to. They even rang in New Year with Rishi, Neetu, Riddhima, Bharat and Samaira. If reports are anything to go by, then the couple visited New York to be with Rishi, who is getting treated for cancer. Neetu also shared the post with a cryptic message where she wrote, ‘hope cancer is just a zodiac sign in the future’.
