PM Narendra Modi's tour in Andhra Pradesh has been confirmed. AP BJP president Kanna Lakshmi Narayana has announced that Modi would visit AP twice in February and confirmed his tour schedule. As per the details, Modi will visit Guntur-Vijayawada on Feb 10th and he will visit Visakhapatnam on Feb 16th.
Kanna also confirmed that BJP national president Amit Shah will be coming to Andhra Pradesh thrice in Feb. He said Amit Shah would visit Vizianagaram on Feb 4th and Rajahmundry on 21st February and Ongole on 26th Feb. Kanna said Amit Shah would participate in the 'cluster' meetings of the BJP and he would interact with the party cadre. BJP leaders are hoping that the visit of its national leaders Modi and Shah would raise the party's winning prospects in the coming general Lok Sabha polls. It is buzzed that Modi may make crucial announcement to AP during his visit.
While CM Chandrababu Naidu has given a call for massive protests against BJP-led Centre for denying Special Category Status to AP and also not granting Special Railway Zone to Vizag and Steel Plant to Kadapa and even planning to do protest at New Delhi and going to meet President, Modi and Shah's visit to AP on same dates is kicking up a political storm. Looks like, Feb will be crucial for AP.
