Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone buried the hatchet last year. It was a sweet surprise when Katrina attended Deepika and Ranveer Singh's Bollywood reception held on December 1, 2019. Soon after that, the actors started following each other on Instagram. Katrina had also congratulated Deepika when she shared her wedding photos on Instagram. Both Katrina and Deepika even spoke well about each other during their appearances on Koffee With Karan 6.

Deepika, on her Instagram page, shared two candid photos with her mom Ujjala Padukone where the actor is seen making cute expressions. Deepika captioned her post stating, "trying to get her to smile...but she’s such a natural...#motheranddaughter". Katrina was all praises for Deepika's mom as she commented on the post saying. "So pretty she is". Take a look at the post below:

On a talk show, when Katrina was asked about attending Deepika and Ranveer's wedding reception in Mumbai, she answered, "It was literally as simple as this - I received the invite and Ranveer also messaged saying you know you gotta come you gotta come be a part of this. I thought it was very sweet and I felt like going."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Katrina is currently completing the shoot of her upcoming film, Bharat. In the film, the actor is paired opposite Salman Khan, who plays the titular role. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is set to be an Eid release (June 5, 2019).

On the other hand, Deepika will be making her debut as a producer with Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak. The actor will be seen in the role of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
