That the paps are a bit afraid of Jaya Bachchan and clicking her pictures when she's spotted in the city, is a known fact, thanks to Karan Johar's chat show Koffee With Karan 6. The filmmaker had asked Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda about the same when they had appeared on one of the episodes of KWK 6.

Recently, Karan Johar hosted a lunch bash for his mom Hiroo Johar's birthday and like others, Jaya Bachchan too was spotted at the do. As she was navigating her way out, the paparazzi started going click click click, as soon as they spotted her, but without making any noise. Turns out, some fanboys too sneakily tried to click a picture of the yesteryear actress and thought that he'd get away with it and that Mrs. Bachchan won't notice it at all.

Guess he was wrong! Jaya Bachchan not only spotted him, sneakily taking her photos without asking her, but also called him back and schooled him in some basic manners. She blasted him saying, "Mobile pe Kyun (photo) le rahe ho? Yahan aao aap.. Mobile se kyun (photo) le rahe ho? Puchha mujhse aapne? Tameez seekho."

On Koffee With Karan 6, speaking about their mother Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan revealed why the Bachchan matriarch hates getting papped. She said, “She gets very claustrophobic when there are too many people around her. She also doesn’t like it when people take her pictures without asking her. She comes from that school of thought.”

To that, Abhishek Bachchan added that his mother also hates clicking selfies. Shweta explained that the veteran actor feels that she looks bad in selfies and that’s why she hates them.
