Latest Update: After Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor to play a biker in his next

Shahid Kapoor, who is currently busy filming Kabir Singh, the Hindi remake of Telugu hit Arjun Reddy, ha signed a new film where he will be seen playing a biker.

Shahid Kapoor has been busy in the last couple of months shooting for his upcoming film, Kabir Singh. A remake of hit Telugu film of 2017, Arjun Reddy, Shahid will be seen playing a brilliant but flawed medical student in the film.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the Haider actor has now signed a new film where he will be seen as a biker. It will take him across the country and is likely to start rolling from December. The report further adds that Shahid will sport a bearded look for the film and will also bulk up for it.

Shahid is an avid biker and only recently bought an expensive bike, a BMW R1250 GS Adventure, a top-of-the-line bike costing approximately Rs 18.25 lakh, according to reports.

Sharing a picture of the same, Shahid wrote: “1250 reasons to smile. Thank you @bmwmotorrad @bmwmotorrad_in for the stunning gs1250 #bikelover gone mad.”

Meanwhile, Shahid has been speaking about his film Kabir Singh of late. Speaking to IANS, he said that while he has been enjoying shooting for the film, to do a remake a film, loved by the audience, is also stressful.

“I am having a great time. I think ‘Kabir Singh’ is very special and ‘Arjun Reddy’ was amazing. As such it’s very stressful making the remake, especially when it has been loved so much.”

 Arjun Reddy starred Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in the lead roles and was directed by Sandeep Vanga; the latter is directing the Hindi remake as well.

On personal life front too Shahid and wife Mira Rajput’s family moments are avidly followed by their fans. Only on Saturday, Shahid shared a picture with his young son, Zain. Sharing it, he simply wrote: “The sun.”
