Actor Samantha Akkineni, on Saturday, revealed that she shoot of her upcoming Telugu comedy Oh Baby, directed by Nandini Reddy, has been wrapped up. Calling it a very special film, Samantha took to Twitter to announce that the shoot of the project is over.

“Today I am so grateful to the universe, to God and to the people who have been instrumental in helping me find my direction. I have taken some time to grow both personally and professionally. There have been many ups and downs. But today I feel the satisfaction of that growth as I wrap yet another film Oh Baby. I just know in my heart that this one is going to be special,” she posted.

  She further thanked Oh Baby director Nandini Reddy for giving her her most favourite character yet. This project marks the second collaboration of Samantha and Nandini after Jabardasth, which bombed at the box-office.

Oh Baby, produced by Suresh Productions, is rumoured to be the remake of Korean comedy Miss Granny. The film is about a 70-year-old, played by veteran actor Lakshmi, who magically finds herself in the body of her 20-year-old self after getting photographed at a mysterious photo studio.

The original was a huge box-office hit. Samantha currently has three films ready for release. On March 28th, her Tamil film Super Deluxe hits the screens. On April 5th, her Telugu romantic drama Majli with husband Naga Chaitanya, will release. Oh Baby will be her third release of the year.
