Gossips: Arjun Rampal announces girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades's pregnancy: Blessed to start all over again

Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetriades reportedly started dating in 2018

Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal, on Tuesday, announced that he and his girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades are expecting their first child together. Arjun Instagrammed a stunning picture of himself with Gabriella, in which she's seen sporting the baby bump, and wrote, "Blessed to have you and start all over again... thank you, baby, for this baby."

Gabriella also posted the same photo, saying, "Grateful for you two (heart). Can’t wait to meet you."

This will be Arjun Rampal's third child. The actor was earlier married to Mehr Jesia from 1998 to 2018 and they have two daughters - Mahikaa and Myra - together. Arjun and Mehr announced their separation in May 2018.

Rumour has it that Arjun met Gabriella during an Indian Premier League afterparty in 2009, but they reconnected and began dating only a few years later. Their rumored romance first hit the gossip columns in November 2018 after their several public appearances. She was by his side when his mother, Gwen Rampal passed away last year.

Gabriella is a South African supermodel, who made her Bollywood debut with Sonali Cable in 2014. She participated in Miss Indian Premier League (IPL) Bollywood 2009 and was chosen as one of FHM's "100 Sexiest Women In The World" contenders. She gained fame for becoming "Miss IPL Bollywood" and represented the IPL team Deccan Chargers.

She told news agency IANS in an interview that she has no interest in pursuing a career in films. "I didn't enter Bollywood. I did just one film. Honestly, I didn't love the experience in it. So, I didn't want to do another film. So, I made my way back into the fashion space because that is where I feel most comfortable."

Gabriella, who is currently hosting AXN original series Twinning, said that she's open to star in a Netflix project or an Indian produced project for an English speaking role.

Arjun was last seen in ZEE5's web show titled The Final Call. He has starred in films such as Rock On!! (for which he won a National Award), ra. One, Dil Hai Tumhaara and Dil Ka Rishta among others.
