Numero uno starlet Samantha Akkineni has not retired like everyone out there who quit acting after getting married. And guess what, she helped her husband score the biggest hit of his career with Majili.
Talking about the same in a recent interview, Samantha stated that she felt quite nervous on the release day of Majili. "That day I had woke up at 3 am in the morning to check the result of the movie. Then I've prayed to god for nearly two hours and later started checking the reviews. After reading them, I can't stop myself crying for an hour" she said.
Looks like Samantha is concerned about the success of the film because she's teaming up with her husband after their marriage for the first time. And also she doesn't want the film to be a flop at any cost. In the end, she is all super happy for the result.
Cut to her next, Samantha will be seen in Nandini Reddy's Oh Baby and is yet to take up any other big projects.
