Kangana Ranaut walked out of Anurag Basu's Imli and now reports suggest Deepika Padukone is in talks for the film
Anurag Basu is currently busy shooting for what is touted to be Life In A Metro sequel. The director also has another film Imli in his kitty. He was supposed to begin shooting for this film with Kangana Ranaut but the actress walked out of the project.

As the two of them couldn’t reunite after Gangster and Life In A Metro, the filmmaker has now approached Deepika Padukone to play the lead role in the film. As Deepika is busy with Chhapaak, the conversations between the filmmaker and the actress have been more than positive.”
Even though reports have been rife that Kangana Ranaut walked out of the film, Anurag Basu declined it by saying that she was supposed to begin shooting for Imli last November but that couldn't be possible due to reshoots for her debut directorial film Manikarnika.
