When Disney bought out 21st Century Fox, many thought that the release of this much-awaited sequel will be sped up. But surprisingly, the fans of this blockbuster movie "Avatar", directed by Titanic fame James Cameron, have to wait for one more year now.
All over the world, every film lover is waiting to see the sequel of the 2009 super hit Avatar, which will be bigger and more intense this time. Earlier December 2020 was declared as the initial date, but the first ever sequel
Avatar 2 will now hit cinemas on December 17, 2021.
That's not all, Disney has however elated fans by announcing the dates of other sequels too. Now,
Avatar 3 is set for December 22, 2023, release, while Avatar 4 will release on December 12, 2025, and Avatar 5 will hit cinemas on December 17, 2027.
Starting with 2021, we have to say that the fans of Avatar will have a feast every two years as Disney is making sure that they will not miss the release dates at any cost. Set in the backdrop of fantasy planet Pandora and how the tribe of Na'vi suffer and fight back against the human colonization of it.
