Latest Update:Vijay Deverakonda is the HERO

South's crazy hero Vijay Deverakonda has signed a sports drama genre for the first time. This new film is titled 'HERO' and is launched on Sunday.

Director Koratala Siva and MLA Gottipati Ravi Kumar were the chief guests of the launch event. Koratala did the honors of clapping the soundboard and handing over the script to the makers.

'HERO' is a musical thriller with a sports backdrop and is going to be directed by Anand Annamalai. 'Petta' fame Malavika Mohanan is the female lead and this marks her Telugu debut.

Music will be composed by Pradeep Kumar while Murali Govindarajulu will handle the camera.
