Latest News: Rakul Preet Singh Film To Be Remade In Telugu

Actress Rakul Preet Singh, who was going through a lean phase over the past one year, got some respite with the success of her recent film, De De Pyaar De. The film has collected around Rs. 90 crores net. in two weeks and termed as a decent hit at the box office. The film stars Ajay Devgn and Tabu in other lead roles.

Now, the plans are being made to remake the film in Telugu. De De Pyar De chronicles the story of a 50-year-old man falling in love with a 25-year-old girl. The story is filled with a lot of comical elements and also an emotional climax. Apparently, Venkatesh has liked the film a lot.

Venky is known for his comic timing and it will be a tailor-made role for him. Already, Suresh Babu is trying to bag the rights of the remake from the original producers. Soon, we might get an official announcement regarding the project. We have to see if Rakul will reprise her role in the remake as well or not.
