After facing two disasters like 'Krishnarjuna Yuddham' and 'Devadas', Natural Star Nani has finally scored a memorable hit with 'Jersey' movie. Directed by Gautam Tinnanuri, the movie became a winner at the box office.
Touted to be a sports drama, Kannada 'U-Turn' fame Shraddha Srinath played the female lead in this movie. Nani played the role of a cricketer and has mesmerized the audience with his outstanding performance in the film. As per the latest reports, the movie is now going to get remade in Bollywood. None other than leading Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has reportedly acquired the Hindi remake rights of 'Jersey'. Gautam Tinnanuri who helmed the original version is also going to wield the megaphone for the remake as well.
Rumors are rife that Shahid Kapoor is going to play the lead role in this film.
We have to wait for a few more days to get the official announcement and more details regarding the project.
