As the negative reactions kept growing, Soundarya Rajinikanth deleted the swimming pool pictures from her social media handle. She even clarified, 'Those throwback pictures from My travel diaries were shared in good spirit but removed them considering the sensitivity around the current water scarcity. Those pics were to stress the importance of physical activity for the children. #LetsSaveWater'.
The current situation in Tamil Nadu Capital is such that 40 percent of the piped water supply has been stopped after four reservoirs got dried up.
