Latest Report: Superstar & Lady Superstar For Sankranthi 2020

The Sankranthi 2020 box-office race is going to be interesting with both Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun heading into a big clash with their respective projects Sarileru Neekevaru and Ala Vaikuntapuramlo. Interestingly, both the projects have fixed their Pongal spots long back and a couple of medium-range movies like Sreekaram starring Sharwanand and Sai Dharam Tej starrer Prati Roju Pandaga might also release during Sankranthi.

On the other side, Super Star Rajinikanth's Darbar might also get released during Sankranthi. Just like how Peta released this year, Darbar might also hit the screens. With these movies occupying the slots, it looks like a perfect filmy festival season. But the ongoing reports in the film Nagar reveal that Anushka Shetty might enter the box-office race with her movie Nissabdham.

Nissabdham stars Anushka, Madhavan, Shalini Pandey, Anjali and others in the key roles. Since Anushka's biggest hit Arundathi released during Sankranthi and became a big hit, the makers are now planning to release Nissabdham during Sankranthi and repeat the success.

The film's shoot is wrapped up and the post-production work is currently in progress.
