Disha Patani has been a part of the film industry for more than four years now. In 2016, she made her Bollywood debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in the film, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. She was also a part of a Chinese film titled Kung Fu Yoga alongside Jackie Chan and Sonu Sood. Then in 2018, she had a full-fledged role in Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi 2. This year, she was seen in a small role opposite Salman Khan in Bharat.
During her recent interaction with Hindustan Times, Disha opened up about getting accepted in the industry. She stated, "People have been kind and accepting of me. If people don’t like you, it has got nothing to do with you not being a star kid. If you are talented and hardworking, people accept you. It doesn’t matter where you are from. Shah Rukh Khan was a nobody when he came to this business and look at him today."
Disha also shared the fact that she doesn't like seeing herself on the big screen. The actor said, "Once I finish a film, I completely disconnect from it. I don’t like to watch myself on screen. It makes me feel very awkward so once I’ve shot it, it’s done."
