Tamil actress Trisha has been within the industry for quite 15 years and she or he did many memorable roles. But none of these roles brought her an equivalent appreciation as '96' did. This feel-good emotional flick which released last year breathed life into her fading career. Her character, 'Jaanu' was written so beautifully and Trisha did complete justice thereto.
She got tons of appreciation for her portrayal of Jaanu. aside from the good reception, Trisha bagged 11 awards for this role till now. ranging from Asian Film Awards to the recent Filmfare, she got eleven awards which may be a rare feat as no other actress got this many awards for one film. Trisha is on bliss for this excellent achievement.
After receiving the Filmfare, Trisha took to social media and expressed her happiness by sharing an image that has all the awards she got for '96'. This film may be a touching story of two people that fall crazy during their schooling days and meet again at their reunion. This film is now getting remade in Telugu with Samantha and Sharwanand within the lead roles.
