Anyone who has followed Kareena Kapoor Khan’s career graph would always remember her most iconic performances so far where she played Pooh in Karan Johar’s family drama Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. The character of Pooh is loved by Kareena’s fans even today therefore when Karan Johar teased a few shows titled Pooh Diaries, audiences got excited to understand more details and therefore the project to urge a green light.

Speaking about an equivalent, Kareena opened about the tentative series during a recent interview with a publication. When Kareena was asked whether she would reprise the role of Pooh for the series Karan spoke about, the Veere Di Wedding actress said that “Karan and that I are still in talks”.

She further revealed that the show is currently being scripted and more information about it'll be released once it's done. She further added that she currently has no idea when the show will continue floors which is busy prepping for Laal Singh Chadha and Takht.


Kareena also spoke about what Poo, as a personality, would be like at 40, to which she said that Poo is going to be calmer now but the essence of the character will remain an equivalent, insisting that Pooh will always be synonymous together with her and it can't be through with anyone else.

On the work front, Kareena is currently gearing up permanently Newwz. Directed by Raj Mehta, the film also stars Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in lead roles. Good Newwz is slated to be released on December 27, 2019.
