Eternally grateful to him: Karan Johar confirms Shah Rukh Khan's cameo in Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt's 'Brahmastra'

In November 2019, Shah Rukh Khan kickstarted the shoot of Brahmastra during which he features a special appearance. the manufacturers made bound to keep the large news covert but however, it leaked out. Moreover, SRK's vanity van was seen on Brahmastra sets which were the most important giveaway. Talking about the superstar being a neighborhood of Brahmastra, a source had told Mumbai Mirror, "Shah Rukh himself likes Ayan’s work and immediately agreed to the cameo. And like everyone else’s within the film, even SRK’s character has the mythological touch."

Now, when the producer of Brahmastra, Karan Johar was asked about Shah Rukh's presence within the film, he confirmed and stated, "I don’t want to reveal his role but Ayan, Ranbir, Alia and that i are going to be eternally grateful to him for approaching board together with his vision and inputs. The energy Shah Rukh Khan brings with him when he walks on to a movie set is unparalleled."

KJo was also asked about the discharge date of Brahmastra, he said, "You will hear about the discharge date of Brahmastra Part 1 very soon."

On being quizzed about the trilogy, the filmmaker replied, "Yes, Ayan possesses the structure of both parts ready and therefore the writing material is firmly in situ. He has been performing on it every single day for the last five years. It’s his brainchild completely and possesses terrific support from the cast, including Ranbir (Kapoor), Alia (Bhatt) and Mr (Amitabh) Bachchan, who have worked tirelessly. For five years, I even have seen the boy struggle and make something that Indian cinema has never seen."
