The remake of Tamil blockbuster Asuran goes floors very soon with senior hero Venkatesh reprising the role of Dhanush within the Telugu version. Director Srikanth Addala who has thus far helmed only family dramas is carving this chilling thriller that revolves around caste-based deaths.

Initially, they need to be approached Anushka Shetty to play the role of hero's wife, played by Manju Warrier quite effortlessly within the original. But the Baahubali actress has turned it down, due to the less remuneration she was offered. And with no other option, the role visited easy standby Shriya who is usually game for any roles, glamour or mother-types.

However, Shriya is additionally not comfortably saying okay for the role from the last fortnight and recently she is claimed to possess confirmed that her dates are clashing. Maybe she doesn't need the rugged character and become the mother of two grownup sons so early the silver screen.
