In a recent interview, the actress opened about her films and whether she fears 'overexposing' herself. "I don’t think there’s anything called ‘overexposing’. you're an actor, and you're meant to perform. you ought to do the maximum amount of work as you'll, which is physically possible. I never consider that! I don’t want to try to something just to fill my three months ‘oh khaali hain toh kar leti hoon (I am free so I should do it)’. the rationale should be right -- why you're doing a movie. It should come from within. In my career, I even have taken that step once I did something because I used to be free. It doesn’t turn outright. It’s better to take a seat reception than do something which you're not fully involved in," Kriti said.
Further speaking about her upcoming film Mimi that she also placed on 15 kgs, Kriti said, "I am very happy but it’s also a touch of responsibility on your shoulder. I feel I'm ready for carrying a whole film and think so is my audience. Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017) changed things on my behalf me. People started watching me as an actor seriously, they appreciated my performance. it had been an enormous deal on behalf of me. When Luka Chuppi did well, I felt my thinking is resonating with the audience. They liked what I liked, and hopefully, that continues!"
