As per reports, either Kajol or Kareena Kapoor Khan is probably going to play the feminine lead opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rajkumar Hirani's directorial.

There are several reports making the rounds about Shah Rukh Khan's collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani for his upcoming directorial. None of them neither confirmed the report nor denied it. However, the rumors are pretty strong and fans want the superstar to form a politician announcement soon. it's also said that before Hirani's film, SRK will announce about starring in Raj & DK's directorial and also in Atlee's film.

Now as per reports, Rajkumar's film is probably going to be shot extensively in Canada, London, and Gujarat. Moreover, the manufacturers are yet to zero down the feminine lead and Kajol and Kareena Kapoor Khan are battling out for it. Talking about it, a source stated, "It is going to be interesting to ascertain who is that the final choice between Kajol and Kareena for Hirani’s next. Both are excellent actors, great on-screen and have had blockbusters in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior and Good Newwz."

Earlier talking about SRK-Hirani film, a source had told Bollywood Hungama, "Shah Rukh Khan has okayed filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s next. This seems to be an enormous project and sets are going to be mounted by April or May 2020. Following this, the manufacturers are trying to find a 2021 release for the film. As of now, the cast and subject of the film are kept covert ."

While another source told Mid Day, "People are expecting Shah Rukh to announce his next project after Zero. Shah Rukh and Hirani are meeting for a couple of months to debate this. It's almost finalized. Hirani will float his banner and can not [work] with Vidhu Vinod Chopra, as has been the norm. it is a romantic drama with a robust emotional cord running through; it's right up SRK's alley."
